silent os.execute

Hi, I would like to be able to use os.execut / io:popen without flash popup cmd, is it somehow possible ? Your LUA svn source branch is no longer available.
Any help appreciated.

2nd question - after using os.execute/io:popen or io.open, lineage windows stays always on top, is it somekind of a bug ?
