How does this actually work? We gonna play with cloud base? Are we still able to play without steam or it's a must?

100% ploy to get new players / more $. if it fails well hey, half of the new population will want to transfer off of the server, that's atleast 50$ a head, on top of whatever runes they buy @ launch in order to compete.
