L2tunning-desetup.ini

I want please to clarify the step ClockMan gave us for patching l2tunning,he says that settings will be load from desetup.ini

-latest tower version
-win7 64b

- i used the 2d way and open clients manuely from l2.exe

-asking in forum about what is this ini and where is located, someone replied me to make an .ini similar to old ini desetup7 created and put it inside l2/system,with the TPS number i want.

ClockMan,this is what we have to do ? gameguard will not ''report'' that we added a file inside l2 system?

if we can add/remove files without problem of getting banned,we could use the striped client by erce too? since our problem now is the high cpu

And,after maintenance,it seems i have only 1 patch in tower,i had 2 Tongue

All who know the answers pls reply Smile

I don't know if this helps, but i had trouble getting dsetup to work as well. it would crash at l2 window all the time during loading. I tried disabling the "can see me" and "auto target" in the premium section other, and it actually started working. just disabled those two options and then patched vorbis and like magic it works.

Did you test if tps actually change? Did cpu/ram usage down a lot? I am using l2tunning, ram usage down a lot, but still lag like hell and very easy to crash if I click on the client.

RE: L2tunning-desetup.ini

Hmm no i didnt. I didnt have alot of time when i did it. Although it was letting me open more than 3 clients without having to do kerberos method. I have tps at 15. I tried it at 2 and it is not responsive enough. Also when i run my parties i minimize all my windows except for maybe party leader. Did u turn damage text off? U know all those white numbers that appear on mobs in battle? I noticed once i turned those off my clients stopped crashing when i tried to un-minimize them after long periods.

Please check if tps work and tell us.About dmg text turned off, sure it helps keep client running when minimized but when maximized the lines with damage and skills used on system window that will load all at once still makes client crash, only clients with toons that didnt hit will not crash.

I ask also ClockMan's answear on this,if gameguard can detect we added file inside l2/system or we did change tps or any modification we do on client like switching folders with the striped client by erce.

RE: L2tunning-desetup.ini

Thank you blah,lf ClockMan to tell us if we can use desetup.ini to change tps safely,or there is risk from gameguard to get detected.
