hi!

I used to run l2tower on a private server and it worked just perfect but i did have to remove gameguard.des to run it. Now as a countermeasure the game cant start without gameguard.des being in the system folder is there any advice on how i can bypass this ?

ps the game does start but you cant log in to the game server*

load verification failed (no answer from game) ?

Actually, as it has been said many times, L2Tower can't bypass LameGuard.

Search for bypass by karapidiola.
This is one that works with l2t.

Yes, you can't log in, because gameguard.des is responsible for check system folder. So it's clear, that w/o guard you cannot enter.

I guess you also need the patched dsetup.dll in you System folder.
These steps always worked for me:
- delete folder GameGuard from System folder (or rename to have bkp)
- delete file gameguard.des (or rename)
- replace dsetup.dll with the patched one
- rename l2.bin to l2.exe

You can start client simply from l2.exe or from L2Tower.exe

This ways you client should start and work with no problems but... who knows. GL

fatality, can you share dsetup.dll for High Five, which is already cracked by Clockman or Geddys?
He is talking about HF or lower chronicles servers, I think.

I think dsetup.dll for h5 can be found on fyyre's website but can't remember it now
