I got the same problem, i recently was playing Freya( Injecting with L2.exe ) then i moved to a High5 server and as you l2.exe wasnt the executable file, used 'L2.bin' then suddenly says -loaded [Highfive]-
few seconds later 'L2.bin stopped working'
Tried with external program, remoteDLL, even deactivated Windows DEP (Data Execution Prevention) thinking it could be interfering but nothing.

Yeah, as of the newest version of L2 Tower there is an option called *Patch/Unpatch Foldier*. The problem was that L2Tower had patched my system foldier and as a result l2.bin stopped working. So just UNPatch system foldier (L2Tower Options)

Tested with your steps, unpatched it and no error showed up, L2 window dramatically close up just when it appears with no error message.
Tested on 3 computers, like you said it's server system

Did you download some server system or u use Host.
This is L2Tower bug, fix it require add support for more hook libs. Plans are to do that in 1.4 version.
Can you tell as when will be that v1.4 more or less ???
1.4 will be in next week, i'm out of country from tomorrow till Monday. I'm thinking about release some version today because Geddys did some updates...
