Facts :
- used l2tower premium and l2divine.
- written arround 20k lines of codes in both scripting languages
l2divine PROs :
- better marketing
- better written and distributed documentation
- OOG Mode
- smarter nuke and healing
- easier to setup (due to the well written documentation)
- amazing radar map integration
- builtin alert balloon / message
- easier to setup and use for beginner
- have better pickup / nuke algorithms
- less scripting functions than l2tower, but easier to use, fulfill 80% of farming usage.
- builtin summoner support
l2divine CONs :
- pricing too high
- unresponsive support / improvement request
- poor scripting language (wanted improvements that never happened)
- have found some buggy functions after upgrade... Regressions observed after updates, still not fixed, making my old scripts not working.
- can only execute one script per character
- licensing per account, once your account get ban, you have penalties to migrate your license to another account...
l2tower PROs :
- very good pricing and licensing
- nice and responsive support/developer team
- active forum and community (willing to share scripts / plugin / tutorial)
- amazing possibilities with the embedded lua interpreter
- integrated in game UI
- amazing resources available (script/plugin/tutorial)
- polygon hunting area
- packet level support
l2tower CONs:
- dispatched/not maintained documentation (had to search all around the forum threads before making l2tower working)
- process injection/hooking make antivirus crying, had to build an isolated computer to run l2 with tower
- need to have basics programming knowledge to run tower efficiently (beginner may be afraid of object oriented programming)
My advice :
I like both divine/tower, different philosophy (packet modification vs process injection) and usage.
I use both of them for better gaming possibilities (divine for radar map + better healing support + OOG) and tower for all the other things you need.
