Over the final two weeks of the season, they need some

The Miami Dolphins have a path to the playoffs in 2018 Womens Daniel Kilgore Jersey , but they need some help to get there. As we have done most weeks in the second half of this season, we take a look at the NFL schedule and how fans need to root for Miami to make it to the playoffs. This week, the games that are considered get narrowed way down. We are not worried about a lot of the strength of schedule/victory tie breaks anymore. We are just down to the teams that really impact the Dolphins.Washington Redskins at Tennessee Titans, 4:30pm SaturdayThe Dolphins either need all of the 8-6 teams to fall to 8-8 while Miami moves to 9-7 or they need the Titans to stay in contention to offset Indianapolis, who holds the head-to-head tiebreak on the Dolphins. Miami needs the Titans to lose at least once in the next two games, and since they play Indianapolis in Week 17 and may need to win that game so Indianapolis loses, a Titans loss here makes sense. Root for: Washington.Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers, 8:20pm SaturdayLike the Titans, Miami needs the Ravens to lose at least once in the next two weeks. The Dolphins would beat the Ravens on a tiebreak scenario, based on AFC record. The Ravens face Cleveland in Week 17, which could be a game for the AFC North championship - a scenario that could mean Baltimore is not even a factor in the Wildcard race, but for right now, we will keep them as the runner-up in their division. Giving them a loss here is better for Miami. Root for: Los Angeles.New York Giants at Indianapolis Colts, 1pm SundayAnother team in the AFC Wildcard madness. Pretty simple one here. Miami needs the Colts to lose - and lose twice really. Root for: New YorkCincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns, 1pm SundayThis game really does not impact Miami but it shows up because the Browns are still mathematically in the playoff hunt. They could finish as high as 8-7-1, which would put them half a game ahead of Miami if the Dolphins split their final two games. Just getting them out of the playoff picture is the better move. Root for: Cincinnati. Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots, 1pm SundayHere is the first fun scenario that adds to this week’s intrigue. The Patriots have not clinched the AFC East Womens Robert Quinn Jersey , with Miami having an outside shot at clinching the division. In fact, the Patriots could still miss the playoffs if a lot of things go the right way - or wrong way if you are a Patriots fan. If the Patriots lose in Week 16 and in Week 17, while Miami wins both weeks, the two teams tie at 9-7, with the Miami taking the AFC East based on division record. Of course we have to root for that scenario to happen. Root for: Buffalo.Pittsburgh Steelers at New Orleans Saints, 4:25pm SundayThe other fun scenario is, the Ravens (or Browns) could win the AFC North, with the Steelers suddenly hoping for a Wildcard position - and they have a tie on their record which makes them either a half-game ahead or a half-game behind when it comes to the final standings. There are ways the Ravens win the AFC North at 9-7, then the Dolphins win the Wildcard. This is like an insurance policy to help the Dolphins have multiple ways to get rid of the Ravens in the Wildcard mess. Root for: New Orleans.Jacksonville Jaguars at Miami Dolphins, 1pm SundayAnd the obvious game that matters in the Dolphins’ playoff standings. Root for: Miami.Games not consideredTampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys, 1pm SundayMinnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions, 1pm SundayGreen Bay Packers at New York Jets, 1pm SundayHouston Texans at Philadelphia Eagles, 1pm SundayAtlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers, 1pm SundayLos Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals, 4:05pm SundayChicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers, 4:05pm SundayKansas City Chiefs at Seattle Seahawks, 8:20pm SundayDenver Broncos at Oakland Raiders http://www.thedolphinsfootballauthentic....-authentic , 8:20pm Sunday Let’s do something a little different in this edition.I am going to dig into some of these QB prospects for the 2019 NFL Draft.I don’t know what the future holds for Tannehill or Brock Osweiler, but I am less than optimistic.Obviously, this season has not gone the way Gase had envisioned it, specifically with Tannehill; and whether you’re a Tannehill fan or not - I think we all can agree it’s time to start looking for a young guy to groom.Which is why I believe the Dolphins need to take hard looks at these QBs in this draft.Let’s start with the consensus number 1 QB Justin Herbert. Justin Herbert, OregonHerbert is my number 1 guy at the moment. He’s got the tools you look for, great intangibles, gifted athlete, strong arm, great competitor - he’s fun to watch.I think he’s got a natural arm; and what I mean by that is, his mechanics are so smooth, the ball just comes out of his hand with ease, he can float it into small windows or put zip on it when he needs to, he’s got natural talent. Now, I still need to do a lot more homework on all these QBs - but I’ve really liked what I’ve seen out of Herbert so far and believe he is worthy of the praise he is receiving. Casey Sapio-USA TODAY SportsWill Grier, QB, West VirginiaGrier is a smart QB with great anticipation on his throws.I don’t think he’s got the natural arm that Herbert has, but Grier can sling it.I think he’s got good zip on his throws and I like that when he is eluding pressure, his eyes are downfield. Now , almost everywhere I have seen people are complaining about his decision making and that’s a valid point, but the consistency is more of a concern to me - Grier’s play can be very exciting to watch but I need to see more of a week in week out production and results.Overall, Grier does have NFL talent and potential to be a quality starting QB in the NFL - I am excited to see how the rest of the season goes for him.Bethany Hocker-USA TODAY Sports Drew Lock, MissouriLock is a good QB with a special arm. He’s also a good athlete, competitor and can make every throw. The main concern people have with him is the fact that he beats up lesser teams and loses to more talented teams; example - loses to Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama in consecutive weeks this year. Quick take on him is I like Lock, I really do; I am just not sure how good he can get.I don’t feel like I have a good hold on him yet as a player and need to dive into more film breakdown.I do think he’s got the ability to be an NFL starter, I am just not sure where his ceiling is at yet.Kim Klement-USA TODAY SportsDaniel Jones, DukeJones may be a lesser talked about QB prospect but he’s one of the more intriguing guys out there. He’s got great size, throws with good anticipation, has the arm strength and can make some plays with his legs.I like his toughness to stand tall in the pocket and I like his vision.I do think he needs to work on his touch; he’s got the ability to make absolutely perfect throws, he’s just not consistent.I am kind of excited about Jones and would love to see the Dolphins invest a draft pick on him. Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports Thanks for reading guys. The QB position is the hardest position to scout and I have so much more work I need to do on this class, but it sure is fun.I certainly hope the Dolphin’s scouting department is doing their work on this class too because given the current state the Dolphins are in, and quite frankly have been in since Dan Marino retired, we need to be looking very closely at this QB class. On a quick side note - I apologize for the lack of scouting reports/college coverage for this season - I have always appreciated the positive feedback and discussion from my fellow Dolphin fans.I truly am looking forward to covering the remainder of this season and hopefully get us excited for the draft and the future of our franchise. Thanks guys!
