chat log recording

I was just clearing up my computer a bit and noticed that the L2tower folder was over 1gb in size??
Puzzled as to how it had grown to be so large, I noticed that the program was logging all my ingame chat, items looted, trades and mails I had sent.
Im kinda curious as to why the program is doing this??

for you..., you can turn it off in logsettings.txt

It was doing it for you by default, think of it like character history

lot of people was looking for chat/dmg log's plugins. So it was build in L2T.
You can turn it off in config file.
