In response to a polite request from a NCSOFT Corporation,
that cares for a safety and comfort of a legitimate users of Lineage 2.

Starting from version 1.4.3.143 support for a Lineage 2: Infinite Odyssey Chronicle,
used on servers hosted by NCSOFT and its affiliates will be removed.

Future versions of Lineage 2 won't be supported.
Support for older chronicles used on private servers will continue.

We decided to re-code internals of L2Tower to completely separate core engine and logical modules.

In new approach, all of logical modules will be defined via lua scripts with XML-based gui definition. This will allow us and our beloved users to analyze and enchance core logic in much easier way - from technical point of view there will be no need for restarting the game to test a fix so development time will be shortened by alot.

Since all logic will be in lua files, community will also have ability to analyze, develop and submit fixes ( if they wish to share ).

Basically it will work similar to World of Warcraft or Warhammer Online addons system.

Currently we cannot give you any ETA when this will be finished, work is ongoing.

There will be few types of forum account what will describe what you have to do in your free time. Lets be more agile...

Those accounts will be:

L0. Normal account what you got now.
L1. Moderator
L2. Tester
L3. Beta tester
L4. Developer
L5. Full-Access Developer

How it works ?
User of group L4 will contain all rights of groups L3, L2, L1..

You will see only topics what are allow to see by your group. In that sections there will be "jobs" to do (usually 1-2h jobs) described (like describe something in documentation, test some feature, fix some bug or update some code/algorithm).

Now responsibilities(-), rights(+) and requirements(#):

L1. Moderator
+ Ability to remove threads, merge posts, banning users from forum, editing posts...
+ Write access to documentation
- Removing spam, merge/delete duplicated threads.
- Answering simple questions
- Creating documentation/tutorials
# Forum work knowledge
# L2Tower & Lineage use knowledge.

L2. Tester
+ Ability to access to private bug section.
+ Access to debug build of L2Tower.
- Testing existing features, making suggestions of changes
- Checking servers on what L2Tower don't work and giving report.

+ Access to unreleased unstable L2Tower builds.

The worst part we got behind us. We fixed all important bugs, lot of them left and will be fixed very soon. But changes what we made were necessary to add support for any chronicle. You can test ad use this version, all bugs will be fixed very soon. Some features were't fully fixed ad may don't work like in 1.0 version. But they work.
Our plan is to fix all bugs ad add more options to exists features/add new features.
As you ca see we got new updater, it was necessary because Freya client don't load l2ui.dll anymore so we decide to change name to something more cool, and because there are not planed huge changes in code in near future, updates going to be more often (For us is now just 1 click to share new update Tongue

).

Information about Inventory, Pet Inventory, WH, CWH, ClanWH, EtcWH are not longer read from packets - thats make this feature server/chronicle in-depended.
